Founded in 2017, marXact started with a couple of young guys in the well-established market of GNSS surveying. Shaking it up with the simple idea to make GNSS surveying possible for any person, any company, on any device, with any app.

With digitalization happening around us, surveying becomes more easy and projects more efficient. Workers in the field survey create their own projects and automatically have it synced in to their GIS tools.

So we’ve made that happen, with easy, intuitive soft- and hardware at an interesting price point. And with high Dutch standards, since all our products are made and produced in the Netherlands.

Choosing for Made in Holland

When marXact was founded in 2017, we made a conscious decision to develop and produce all of our products in the Netherlands. It did not matter if it was hardware or software, we wanted our products to be closeby and Made in Holland. We Dutchies are known for a great value for money, customers can have faith in that.

We have an in-house and international development team working tirelessly on providing you with the best UNI-Solutions, so you digital survey best. They are working from our office in Hilversum, located in the centre of the country. Having our own team developing hardware and software guarantees a fast development and implementation of new ideas and suggestions, perhaps even yours!

Choosing a production facility near us for hardware manufacturing, was the next step.

Production of hardware

All UNI-GR2s are produced in our production facility in Rotterdam, not that far from our headquarters. We work closely together with a production partner specializing technical orientated products, what our digital receivers definitely are.

Having a partner closeby, benefits our business perhaps more than yours. This reduces costs and production time and allows for us to provide you with the best technical equipment to digital survey. Learn more about the production process by watching the video.

Alex

Development

Alex joined our team to fulfill his graduate internship and complete his studies, stayed with us after that. Works on optimizing our internal processes, so we can support customers even better and quicker. Has declared ‘ Everyday to be grilled cheese sandwich day’.

Alexandra

Marketing

Alexandra specializes in marketing strategy, from social media to campaigns, and content. Having lived in many different countries, she brings a truly international perspective — in fact, we’re still trying to figure out where she’s from, we just know she is in fact not made in Holland. And with the big number of master’s degrees she holds, we’ve honestly lost count.

Marketing

Analytical, adaptable, and a real asset. Alina embodies a lot of qualities that start with an ‘A’. We can’t wait to see what other qualities we can add to that.

Ankur brings his software engineering and embedded programming experience to the table as a part of our UNI-GRx team. Outside of the office he likes being active in various ways, from sports to just aimlessly roaming around the city.

Development

Passionate about solo road trips and new adventures, Benjamin has made the Netherlands his new home. As a UI developer, he works on our website. When he’s off, you’ll find him diving into novels, crafting sci-fi stories, or scaling new heights with bouldering.

Sales

Daniël joined our sales team as an intern. He supports the team with getting in touch with new customers and following up on demos, and learns the trade from the people who do it every day.

Development

Darin has a background as a game developer and likes to play videogames in his free time. Next to that he likes to research coding in his spare time as well and like to print all kind of artistic things with his 3D printer.

Support

Franziska has freshly joined our support team, with a master’s degree in hand, and strengthens our German-speaking support line. Years of working in a restaurant taught her that a happy customer is the best result of a job well done, so you’re in good hands. When she’s not working, you’ll find her cooking delicious healthy meals, hitting the gym, going for a run, or playing padel.

This music-loving AI geek brings a variety of languages to our team. Next to the many coding languages he knows and uses for you, Italian, English, and (basic) Dutch are on his pallet as well.

Hlib is a tech enthusiast who thrives on creating seamless digital experiences. When he’s not immersed in his latest project, you’ll find him carving down snowy slopes or sharing his passion for music through singing. Ingrid joined us as Growth Marketeer. She works on getting the right people to find us online and turning their visit into a conversation with our team. If you found marXact through a search or an ad, chances are Ingrid had a hand in it.

Ishdeep is the silent force many features of UNI-Collect. He adds new tools to the software regularly, thereby taking feature requests to heart, all while starting his workday eating rice crackers. Ishdeep sets you off to a great surveying start.

Raoul is the technical mastermind and the other one of the two founders of marXact, responsible for the technical side of the company. Basically, Raoul get’s you your fix.

Development

With a bachelor’s degree under his belt, Roald jumped into working on the UNI-Machine at marXact and will start his master’s in computer science next year. Outside of studying and work, he’s all about game development and outdoor adventures like sailing and scouting.

Sales

Rody is the head of the Business Development (Sales) department. He drives our sales strategy, identifies new opportunities, and builds strong relationships that help expand our business. Having “emigrated” within the Netherlands—from the south to centrally located Utrecht—he quickly adapted to life without the typical soft ‘G.

With experience in mobile development I’ve created complete solutions before and doing it now. With the interest in sci-fi, my free time is spent playing video games or reading books in that genre. Love to cook something both simple and delicious.

Ugur is our account manager for Germany. He is the first point of contact for German customers, in their own language, and helps them choose the setup that fits their work.

Support

With over 7 years of customer contact experience, Youssef is always ready to provide a helping hand. He can answer your questions in three languages: Dutch, English, and Arabic. In his free time, Youssef enjoys watching football, especially the English league, and playing pool.

Frequently asked questions

Everything is developed in-house in Hilversum, the Netherlands, the hardware and the software together. The UNI-GR2 receiver is produced in Rotterdam. One company owns the whole chain, from the receiver to the app to the cloud.

You get European build quality and one accountable partner, instead of a box from one brand and an app from another. When something needs fixing or changing, it is our own team that does it.

In a private cloud at two Dutch providers, TransIP and Cyso Cloud, with data centres in the Netherlands, both ISO 27001 and NEN 7510 certified. Your project data is stored in the Netherlands and falls under the GDPR. We never sell your data.

Both. The UNI-GR2 receiver, the UNI-Collect app and the UNI-Cloud platform are all ours, developed by the same team.

Yes. Our own support team in Hilversum answers the phone Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00 CET, on local numbers in the Netherlands, Germany and the UK.

In more than 40 countries, with UNI-RTK Premium corrections covering more than 30 countries through over 2,000 base stations.

Often yes. Because we own the hardware, the app and the cloud, we can meet a standard or a workflow you need. Tell us what you are missing and we think along.
